Panache Desai

Panache Desai  is a most amazing teacher that I have come across recently. What he says feels authentic and resonates deeply with me at a soul level. It is as if there is built - in healing in his words. 


Panache tells us that we are perfect as we are and there is no need to fix or change anything but to simply make use of all that we have already inside us.

Born and raised in London, England, Panache Desai spent a childhood immersed in an atmosphere of prayer and worship surrounded by his deeply spiritual family. His family had close personal contact with Indian saints and spiritual masters for generations. This cultural lineage laid a foundation for what was to come.

Panache's mother received visions showing that her only son was not an ordinary child. His astrological chart was one of a spiritual leader foretelling a life of spiritual service.

As a child Panache knew he was different. He possessed an innate kindness and love rarely experienced from one so young. He was recognized by visiting monks and teachers as gifted. Always taking special interest, they would shower him with blessings almost quietly knowing what was to come. By adolescence he possessed a profound awareness that he had come to do something special. More......

Certainty

The words of this poem really resonated with me this morning. For the past six weeks I have been living in uncertainty regrading an issue that still has not been resolved. It has not been easy for me to live with the not knowing and endless questions of " what if ....?"

I have come to the point where i have realised the insanity of worrying about something that may or may not happen; the insanity of fearful thoughts that prevent me from enjoying this holy instant to the full.

No, it is time to stop waiting for the storm to pass and time to learn to dance in the rain !

It is true that since everything is always changing can we ever be certain of anything ?

I shall meditate on " Certainty confines " .

There is freedom in chaos.

We often think of change as change for the worse, but is it so ?
Things can change in an instant.
Things can change for the better, and better that we ever dared imagine.


Finally, I remind myself " THIS IS NOT THE TRUTH "

CERTAINTY

Certainty undermines one's power, and turns happiness
into a long shot. Certainty confines.

Dears, there is nothing in your life that will
not change - especially your ideas of God.

Look what the insanity of righteous knowledge can do:
crusade and maim thousands
in wanting to convert that which
is already gold
into gold.

Certainty can become an illness
that creates hate and
greed.

A note on change.

Everything changes.

Nothing stays the same.

What goes up goes down and back up again.

The sun sets to rise again the next day.

Everything is constantly changing.

Change does not have to be bad.

Change can be good.

Change happens whether I approve of it or not.

All the changes occurring right now on our planet
are leading to a better life for all.
When I change , everything around me has no option but to change in relationship with me.
I intend go with the flow and to change for the better.
I am willing to change in order to honour what truly matters.
What matters to me is love, beauty, honesty , friendship, integrity and relationship with all that is.
I intend to stay in a central space of peace and harmony in the midst of change,
knowing that only good will come of this.
I intend to be the peace and harmony I wish to see in the world.

Want the change ... pour yourself out like a fountain
