The Shift

Be a part of The Shift Movie

Gratitude

As a member of the World Gratitude Gathering, I agree to the following:

  1. I agree that a world of Love and Gratitude begins with me. I choose to be a conscious mirror and model of the change I wish to see in the world.

  2. I agree to consciously set an intention for manifesting something miraculous in my life throughout this process.

  3. I agree to tap into Gratitude on a daily basis and as much as possible in every waking moment. I know that the rewards of doing so flow through and extend beyond me, strengthening the collective field of Gratitude from which we may all derive benefit.

  4. I agree to be a consistently uplifting inspiration in all my interactions in World Gratitude. I commit to see and mirror back the greatness of each soul who crosses my path. I choose to discover and nurture the light within so that it may shine forth to others and magnify their life.

  5. I agree to honour each individual's right to choose their own belief system and life path.

  6. I agree to be open to both give and receive within this community. In all my dealings, I seek win-win, mutually edifying interactions and transactions.

  7. I agree to be my word in my exchanges with others. I realize that my personal influence is magnified to the degree I am able to keep my word with myself and others. If something comes up and I decide to change what I had agreed upon, then I agree to make that communication as soon as possible to the affected party.

  8. I agree to love and enjoy my life as much as possible!

  9. And, last but certainly not least, I agree to be Grateful for ME!

The way out of this financial crisis

The way out of this financial crisis is for Americans to regain more inner wealth. How is that done?

-- Reject fear and pessimism.

-- Know what your vision is and act upon it.

-- Don't blame others and seek payback when things go wrong.

-- Prosper inwardly through love, generosity, giving, and altruism.

-- Stop identifying with your salary and possessions.

-- Work for the common good whenever you can.

We live in amazing times.

We live in amazing times.

We can build big buildings.
Invent the internet.
Send people walking across the moon.
Create fancy iphones.
Keep breasts young forever.
Manufacture vitamins to give you energy.
Formulate Viagra to keep it up.
Create drugs to combat depression to keep it Down.
We build bombs to wipe out millions in a second.
Launch 500 channels on the flat screen.
Create complex car navigation systems.
Invent new weight-loss programs.
Yet we still live in a world where children are starving!
millions are homeless.
We don't teach kids how to communicate.
We have lots of sex but don't make love.
Bigger banks accounts, but less fulfillment.
Faster cars but no time.
More options but less patience.
More education and less sense.
More technology and less touch.

You can clean the air.
But the pollution is in the soul.
This is the real hole
The most important resource, isn't time, oil, money, gold.
It is love.
Without this we may have everything but
life is nothing.
So what is your life about?
So what is your life about?

You can travel the world. Go to great temples, or churches to pray. You can worship the most beautiful statutes, and read the most profound scripture, yet right in front of you is a living expression of divinity.

Take a look: Your children. Your spouse. Your parents. Your brother Co-worker. The homeless person. Your friend. There is no end.
Yet we wait to meet the Dalai Lama, the great Guru or the Pope. For some kind of hope. Waiting for the right moment or special person. When right here in front of you is a living Buddha in the form of your child, or a living Christ in the form of the man that's staring at you.
The whole world is your temple, synagogue, or church.

Remember, it is in your heart. This is where we must all start. In each moment is the opportunity.

At least once a day: Forgive. Reach out. Hug. Cry. Laugh. Connect.

At least once a day:
Trust. look. Sing. Dance. Make a fool of yourself. Risk.

At least once a day:
Give. Touch. Taste. Smile. Wait. Communicate.

At least once a day:
Smell. Relax. Joke. Feel. Yes. Serve.
And most of all say "I love you."

When you dare to open your heart and love, you're free. This is living infinity.
Is there really anything else to do?
Is there really anything else to do?

Love now.

The Power of Mantras

Everything is possible and mantras really do workb

A.k.a. ‘With sufficient thrust, pigs fly just fine'
by Mystic Goddessa

‘No one can fully explain the mystery of Mantras. Their magical sounds help heal physical imbalances, relax the mind, quiet the emotions and open the heart. They stimulate, activate, motivate and rejuvenate. They help you dance or sleep, laugh or cry, make love or meditate. They help you forget some one or find some one.’ Henry Marshall
Mystic Goddessa
It’s important to commit to chanting your mantra 108 times every day for 40 days. This locks in the vibration of the mantra and ensures powerful results. Note that if you skip a day, it’s important to start from the beginning again, so that you achieve 40 uninterrupted days.

I am financially comfortable.

I allow my income to constantly expand.

I am now moving beyond my present income.

My consciousness of finances is constantly expanding and taking in new ideas

---new ways to live deeply, richly, comfortably, joyfully and beautifully.

My skills and talents serve me well ,

and I share them with the world with the greatest of pleasure.

Money appears easily and effortlessly when I need it.

I acknowledge my worth and I move into acceptance of an entirely new level of financial security.

My money is working for me for the highest good.

Financial security is a constant in my life.

A good income without working hard
It is okay to make a good income without working hard.

As I employ my Higher Self, my Higher Self employs me.
What a wonderful, brilliant, delicate, strong, beautiful energy my inner spirit is.
It blesses me with fulfilling work.
Each day is new and different.
As I let go of the struggle to survive,
I find that I am fed, clothed, housed,
and loved in ways that are deeply fulfilling to me.

My opinion on Paulo Coelho's post " The Dream of God "

I like the idea that we are a dream and nightmare of God/Goddess.

Dreams speak in a language that our waking self must interpret before it understands.

I do feel that we as a society are awakening within this dream and nightmare. Many are forced into awakening through some kind of personal crisis , pain or suffering.

As I look around at the lives of my friends and acquaintances I see them all filled with changes and challenges and each challenge is unique as each Dream is unique.

I also see that there are guides, physical and non physical beings with great generosity of spirit that are willing to share their wisdom , potential and resources for the Highest Good.

Among the well-known teachers present and past and sources of inspiration .... Paulo Coelho, Deepak Chopra, Exckhart Tolle, Oprah Winfry, Byron Katie , Dr Roberto Assagioli, Burt Harding, Dalai Lama , Sri Maharishi, Joe Vitale, Wayne Dyer...... and many many very wise lesser known and unknowns.

In a few days we will be celebrating the UN Global Day of Peace and hopefully this will involve BILLIONS !

Many good intentions about.
Many have CHOSEN peace and love instead of fear.
I am optimistic that our collective dream will have a happy ending which will also be the beginning of a new dream.

HAPPY 20th ANNIVERSARY of THE ALCHEMIST , Paulo !

Namasté ...love and brightest blessings to you and what you do.
Thank you !

Spirituality in a Material World : Deepak Chopra interview

Spirituality in a Material World

Awareness isn't something you achieve, says Deepak Chopra. It's what happens when you stop trying so hard.
Interview by Lisa Schneider

Deepak Chopra Called "the poet-prophet of alternative medicine" by Time magazine, Deepak Chopra, M.D., is the founder and CEO of the Chopra Center for Well Being in Carlsbad, California. Dr. Chopra was born and raised in India and came to the United States in 1970 to train and then practice internal medicine and endocrinology. He has since developed his own philosophy of wellness that combines Ayurvedic healing with Western medicine and focuses on a balance between mind, body, and spirit. Dr. Chopra is the author of more than 30 books on a variety of topics ranging from herbal medicine, aging, and meditation, to quantum mechanics, golf, and the poems of Rumi. He spoke with us about his latest work, "The Book of Secrets."

I was surprised by what you wrote about spiritual seeking. You say, "Seeking is doomed because it is a chase that takes you outside yourself." But it seems that some of your biggest fans are spiritual seekers.

You know, we all go through those phases at a certain point. The seeker will realize that what they're seeking is the one who's doing the seeking.

Seeking can become stressful when you apply the same laws that you apply in the material world—hard work, exacting plans, driving ambition, and attachment to outcome. Ultimately spiritual awareness unfolds when you're flexible, when you're spontaneous, when you're detached, when you're easy on yourself and easy on others.
(Read an excerpt about spiritual seeking from Deepak Chopra's book.)

Are there practical steps that people can take to increase their awareness?

Yeah, in the Eastern traditions, those steps have been referred to as the different kinds of yoga. Yoga literally means union, so the yoga of knowledge, which is a scientific understanding of how the universe operates—the yoga of love, which is paying attention to the impulse of love, which is, after all, the impulse toward unity. The yoga of stillness or contemplation or meditation. And also, the yoga of action, the attitude you have when you perform action, when you do yoga in the spiritual worship or when you have the inner conviction that everything you do comes from God, belongs to God and that every breath of yours and every movement of yours is a divine movement of the eternal being, then those are the steps that bring you closer to the supreme intelligence that orchestrates the universe.

Your book suggests our body chemistry can tell us about our consciousness. How so?

Look at the cells and how they function, you see that each cell has higher awareness. It is doing what it does to maintain the welfare of the rest of the body. The stomach cell's not saying, why should I digest food for the heart and the brain? And the brain doesn't say, why should I regulate the activity of the stomach? So they are inseparably interdependent. They have higher awareness.

Each cell has creativity because every time there is a challenge to the body, the body has to come up with a creative solution. Each cell knows how to commune with other cells instantly, both locally and non-locally, each cell is bonded to every other cell, each cell practices what it does with maximum efficiency—it never hoards anything. Each cell obeys the laws of giving and receiving, each cell has awareness of what's happening in the body, and each cell knows the secret of immortality, because even as it dies, it passes on everything it knows to the next generation of cells.

So if you want to look at the human body as an example of consciousness, it's a direct reflection. Consciousness conceives, governs, constructs, and becomes the activity of the body. And in every human body, or for that matter, in every biological organism, there is an inner intelligence that reflects the wisdom of the universe and is, in fact, the ultimate and supreme genius.

You say that our bodies are always experiencing dying–that "Cells are constantly dying and being replaced" and then ask the rhetorical question, so what are we so afraid of? Why do you think the fear of death seems to be built into us?

The fear of death comes from limited awareness. As long as you think of your real self as the person you are, then of course you're going to be fearful of death. But what is a person? A person is a pattern of behavior, of a larger awareness. You know, the two-year-old dies before the three-year-old shows up, the three-year-old dies before the teenager shows up.

So the real you is neither the perceiver, nor the object of perception, but the real you is that formless spirit that is constantly evolving and sometimes even taking quantum leaps of evolution and expressing itself as both the perceiver and the object of perception. And if you can shift your internal reference point from your skin-encapsulated ego to that larger domain of awareness, then you will find that it's your ticket to freedom—that you do not need to fear death because you're already dying every moment to the past.

The fear of death is the fear of the unknown, and yet, the fact is, we live and breathe and move in the unknown all the time. The unknown is from this moment onwards—you're already living there. You have the pretend game that you're living in the known, but the known doesn't exist anymore, it's already gone. Everything you know is about the past. So you have to both intellectually and experientially be willing to embrace uncertainly, ambiguity, and step into the unknown. The known is a prison of past conditioning. The unknown is always a fresh field of possibilities.

Would you equate this constant evolving and recycling with reincarnation?

You can say that, but you know, there's only one "I" in the end pretending to be all these different "I"s so I really don't even believe there's such a thing as a person; there's only the infinite pretending to be a person, as a temporary pattern of behavior. So what does reincarnate is the wisps of memory and threads of desire, born of past experience.

You write that unity, as opposed to duality, is "the purpose of evolution." What do you mean?

The fact that we experience separation is really a perceptual artifact. There's only a single reality that differentiates into both mind and body and then from body and environment. So our perceptual experience of the environment is different than the body, the body is different from the mind, and the mind is different from the soul.

There are two types of ignorance that we come to in this world, one is innate ignorance, which is this perceptual artifact of separation and the other is cultural ignorance.

Just like, your DNA, for example, differentiates into the different cells of your body, your heart cells and your brain cells, and your kidney cells are different in appearance, but not different in their essence. They came from the same double strand of DNA and if I wanted to isolate the DNA in every cell of your body, even though these belong to different organs, I'd get the same information. So the appearance of the expression of the different organs in the body is different, but it's still the same essence. So, too, every observer is a differentiated aspect of a single observer and every object of perception is a differentiated expression of the same observer, because the observer and the observed, the seer and the scenery, the knower and the known are differentiated aspects of a single consciousness. The goal of all spiritual seeking is to realize that experientially and intellectually—but more importantly experientially.

Cultural ignorance is when we take these ideas of duality and then we create institutions around them—so religious and cultural and social indoctrination perpetuates the ignorance.

Do you believe humanity as a whole is evolving toward unity, toward a "New Age," a new level of consciousness on a global scale?

Yeah. I think it would need a critical mass of people to reach a certain level of awareness for humanity as a whole to be affected so I do not know when that would happen. I think the fact that we now have technology, for example, the Internet—Beliefnet, for example—to take information and knowledge and you can rapidly spread it to so many people. That could never have happened say, 2,000 years ago. But today, I personally look at the Internet as the cloning of collective consciousness, our collective soul, it could be much faster than we think it's going to be.

In another interview you said that "religion pulls us apart and spirituality brings us together in love." Do you think that someone who identifies with organized religion can benefit from your books, from this philosophy?

Religious people can only learn from this kind of philosophy if they go to the basic experience of the founder of their religion. And then they'll realize that Christ wasn't a Christian and that Buddha wasn't a Buddhist and Muhammad wasn't Muslim. These people were having the experience of unity consciousnesses and universal consciousness and they spoke of it in words. So if you're a real Christian, you should be listening to what Christ said in the Sermon on the Mount and then you are expressing the universality of spiritual consciousness.

Because if you claim that your religion is exclusive and that your God is exclusive, then how can that God manage the whole universe? We are one speck of dust in probably the junkyard of infinity and there are billions of galaxies with billions of planets and billions of solar systems. We should not diminish the magnificence of God by giving him a sexist male identity, an ethnic background, squeezing him or her into the volume of a body and the span of a lifetime and a regional geography. That's really not paying a pure respect to the magnificence of the Almighty.

You grew up in a Hindu family in India. Do you consider yourself Hindu today?

No. I'm distressed that Hindus can be as violent as anybody else, the only difference is that they're vegetarians.

Would you talk a little bit about your own spiritual practice?

I meditate two hours in the morning and about half an hour in the evening. And I go to the gym for about 1 hour which I consider to be a really spiritual practice as well. And then I have the attitude during the rest of the day that the only step I'm taking that's real is the one I'm taking at the moment, so I try not to anticipate the future or think about the past, but stay grounded in the moment. And those are the mostly, daily practices—meditations, exercise, and staying in the moment. Once every three or four months, I try to take a week of silence in the wilderness and sometimes my family will join me but sometimes I'll do it all by myself.

When I interviewed your son two years ago, he said that two of the qualities that inspired him, of yours were your curiosity and your not taking life too seriously.

[laughs] That's probably true.

Do you think these qualities can serve as spiritual tools?

I think so. I think seriousness is a mask of self-importance and self-importance in turn is a mask for self-pity. So if you're really going to pursue a spiritual way of living in the world, you must be lighthearted and carefree, have humor, be able to tolerate ambiguity and embrace uncertainty, and be forgiving of yourself and everybody else.

10 Principles on the Path to Joy

1. The Healthiest Response to Life Is Laughter.

This first principle serves as an antidote to fear and sorrow by encouraging you to experience life as joyous....When you feel momentary happiness, or you want to burst out laughing, or you smile for no apparent reason, you are glimpsing eternal reality....In time, these moments of joy will begin to knit together. Instead of the exception, they will become the norm. There is no better way to know that you are growing in God-realization.

2. There Is Always a Reason to Be Grateful.

This second principle is an antidote to victimization....The purpose of gratitude is to connect yourself to a higher vision of life....Once you realize that you alone are the projector of reality, you will no longer be dominated by external events. You will correct the mistake that lies at the very root of victimization: a belief that the movie controls you, instead of the other way around.

3. You Belong in the Scheme of the Universe. There's Nothing to Be Afraid Of. You Are Safe.

The third principle is the antidote for insecurity....The role assigned to you is right and proper. It is tailor-made for you, for your complete self....The voice of fear tries to convince you that you are a helpless victim of chance. The very opposite is true. At the deepest level, the level of the soul, you are the author of everything that happens to you.

4. Your Soul Cherishes Every Aspect of Your Life.

The fourth principle is the antidote for feeling undervalued. It states that your worth is absolute, and that everything that happens to you - whether it feels good at the time or not - is part of a divine plan unfolding from the level of the soul....A person's worth is the value of a soul, which is infinite. Since every event in your life isn't happening just to a person but to a soul, everything in life should be cherished.

5. There Is a Plan, and Your Soul Knows What It Is.

The fifth principle is the antidote to meaninglessness. It states that your life has a purpose. You determine that purpose at the soul level, and then that purpose unfolds in daily life as part of the divine plan. The more deeply you are connected to the plan, the more powerful it becomes in your life. Ultimately, nothing can stop it.

6. Ecstasy Is the Energy of Spirit. When Life Flows, Energy Is Natural.

The sixth principle is the antidote to inertia. It states that infinite energy is available to you. You are a co-creator with God. To claim your creative power, you need only connect with the primal energies that play within you....The kind of energy you can call upon at any given moment depends on your level of consciousness.

7. There Is a Creative Solution to Every Problem. Every Possibility Holds the Promise of Abundance.

The seventh principle is the antidote to failure. It tells us that every question includes its own answer. The only reason a problem arises before its solution is that our minds are limited - we think in terms of sequences, of before and after. Outside the narrow boundaries of time, problems and solutions arise at the same instant.

8. Obstacles are Opportunities in Disguise.

The eighth principle is the antidote to inflexibility....The secret is to abandon old habits and trust in spontaneity....Whenever you catch yourself reacting in an old, familiar way, simply stop. Don't invent a new reaction; don't fall back on the opposite of what you usually do. Instead, ask for openness. Go inside, be with yourself, and allow the next reaction to come of its own accord.

9. Evolution Leads the Way Through Desire.

The ninth principle is the antidote to hypocrisy. It encourages us to act on our genuine desires, because they show the way to real growth. Don't pretend to be better - or other - than you are. Don't fall into the trap of having one face for the world and another to God. Who you really are is exactly who you should be.

10. Freedom Is Letting Go.

The tenth principle is the antidote to attachment....If you let go of what isn't real in your life, what's left will be real: what's left is God alone....To be free, you must find a way to let go of all the stuck energy that keeps sending the same old messages....The past is a false guide to the future, and yet it's what most of us rely upon. By letting go of stuck energies, you let go of your past.

From Fran's page

https://www.prosperitywhisperer.com/How_To_Release.html
One of the most powerful and simple tools for releasing unwanted memories and beliefs is Self I-Dentity Through Ho'oponopono.

The technique is simple in that the actual practice can be done by anyone. While the technique is simple, it is not easy because it requires constant and never ending vigilence to our thoughts, deeds and actions and then constant cleaning through the Ho'oponopono process.

"Every individual has the natural and inherent power to think what he wants to think, but it requires far more effort to do so than it does to think the thoughts which are suggested by appearances. To think according to appearances is easy; to think truth regardless of appearances is laborious and rquires the expenditure of more power than any other work we are called upon to perform."

"There is no labor from which most people shrink as they do from that of sustained and consecutive thought. It is the hardest work in the world. This is especially true when truth is contrary to appearances. Every appearance in the visible world tends to produce a corresponding form in the mind which observes it, and this can only be prevented by holding the thought of the TRUTH."

"To look upon the appearances of poverty will produce corresponding forms in your own mind, unless you hold to the truth that there is no poverty; there is only abundance."

"To think health when surrounded by the appearances of disease or to think riches when in the midst of the appearances of poverty requires power, but whoever acquires this power becomes a mastermind. That person can conquer fate and can have what he wants."
Taken From, The Science of Getting Rich by Wallace D. Wattles.

Ho'oponopono is an ancient Hawaiian problem solving technique where the individual takes 100% responsibility for everything. Taking 100% responsibility gives power to release limiting beliefs and create new ones - which thereby create new life.

Cleansing old memories is not about fixing yourself or anyone else. You are perfect just the way you are, only the memories are erroneous.

New beliefs...not fixing the old ones. Letting go of the old and CREATING new.

To release a memory - is to step into presence. Even the hope of the future engages the mind. Anything we do in the mind, from the ego contributes to our own suffering and the suffering of all human kind.

Ho'oponopono helps us relinquish our need to become someone or something different.

When we align with consciousness our creation, our beingness then contributes to the greater good - regardless of "what" we "do". Our being comes through our actions to serve all beings we come in contact with.

Releasing using Ho'oponopono involves engaging memories. Any time you are not fully in the moment - you are reacting from memory. When the dialogue plays in your head, when your response to any situation in deed, word or thought is more intense than it warrants, you are working from a memory.

When you are able to shift the balance of acting from inspiration more than memory your life becomes an incredibly powerful force for increasing the consciousness of the world.

Your ego self is in a constant state of unfulfillment. Releasing the memories allows being present in each and every moment. The moment is the only reality and the only possibile place to "find" happiness.

Of course, there is no finding, just remembering.

Ho'oponopono offers us simple tools for clearing the memories re-playing in the subconscious. Through repentance, forgiveness and transmutation - memories are cleaned and erased and the external world reflects a new perspective.

The foundational cleaning tools of Self Identity through Ho'oponopono are the four phrases:

* I love You
* I'm Sorry
* Please Forgive Me
* Thank You

You don't have to know what the memory is that you are trying to release...it is impossible for you to know all of them anyway. By observing your feelings, thoughts and deeds you will know if a memory is replaying.

When you observe a memory replaying - you say the four phrases. You are directing these to the subconscious. Think of it as if you are speaking to your 6 year old self. My coach always reminds me that "little Frannie" is speaking when he hears a limiting belief come out of my mouth.

I think of the memories like the scene in "A Beautiful Mind" when Russel Crowe's character observes his delusions around him, but no longer engages them. He told them he would no longer believe in them and was moving on.

As you become better at observing yourself you are stepping more and more into being in presence. When in presence - anything is possible.

Ho'oponopono, the process of forgiveness

At the still point of the turning world.

At the still point of the turning world.
Neither flesh nor fleshless;
Neither from nor towards;
at the still point, there the dance is,
But neither arrest nor movement.
And do not call it fixity,
Where past and future are gathered.
Neither movement from nor towards,
Neither ascent nor decline.
Except for the point, the still point,
There would be no dance,
and there is only the dance.

Fear of poverty

You are going to let the fear of poverty govern your life and your reward will be that you will eat, but you will not live.

-- George Bernard Shaw

28 June, 2008

A Time Comes: 11 Steps To Rising UP.

A Time Comes: 11 Steps To Rising UP.

A time comes in your life when you finally get it, ...when, in the midst of all your fears and mental minutia, you stop in your tracks and somewhere the voice inside your Soul says -- Enough. I will no longer allow my mind and ego to hold me hostage. It is the Divine heart and the dignity of Who I Am that will now lead my life. The time is now.

A time comes in your life when you stop fighting or struggling to hold on to that which was never meant for you to hold onto in the first place. And, like a child after a blind tantrum, your fears and tears subside, you shudder once or twice, and you resolve to look at the world through a new lens of perception. The time is now.

A time comes when you realize it's time to stop hoping and waiting for something to change, or for happiness, safety, and security to come galloping over the next horizon. You realize that your happiness and safety, and security depends upon you and no other. The time is now.

A time comes when you awaken to the fact that you are not perfect and it's ok not be perfect and that not everyone will always love, appreciate or approve of who or what you are. Everyone is entitled to their opinion though you are no longer held hostage by what others opinions of you are. Your prime concern is to be the BEST YOU YOU CAN BE! To be the most integral, loving, compassionate, benevolent, honest, glorious, Divine Powerful Human you can possibly be. You learn the importance of championing yourself and in the process a sense of newfound freedom and confidence is born. The time is now.

A time comes when you stop complaining and blaming other people for the things they did to you (or didn't do to or for you) and you learn that you are not your experiences. Experiences are simply life's opportunities for you to rise up to a greater aspect of yourself. The time is now.

A time comes when you learn that people don't always say what they mean or mean what they say and that not everyone will always be there for you and that it's not about you. It's about them. So you learn to be compassionate and you learn to stand solid in your being and take care of your precious self... and in the process a sense of safety and security is born of self-reliance. The time is now.

A time comes when you stop judging and pointing fingers and you begin to accept people as they are, including yourself. You begin to overlook shortcomings and human frailties... and in the process a sense of peace and contentment is born of forgiveness for those around you. The time is now.

A time comes when you learn to open up to new possibilities for yourself. You begin reassessing and redefining who your are via the brain of your heart, not mind, and what you really stand for. You learn the difference between wanting and needing and you begin to delete the outdated belief systems that have held you hostage. And in the process you begin to learn to trust yourself and God and the flow of the Universe and Divine Right Timing. The time is now.

A time comes when you learn to distinguish between guilt and responsibility and the importance of setting boundaries and saying NO. You learn to stop setting up circumstances that go against yourself and you learn to live with integrity and deep love for yourself. And in the process you learn to live a higher version of Who You Are. The time is now.

A time comes when you learn that it is vital to establish a proper connection to your heart brain and soul and begin disconnecting from the personality mind and ego regardless of how vulnerable that makes you feel... and in the process you realize that vulnerability is strength. The time is now.

And finally a time comes when you establish a proper rapport with God and the Higher Realms of Consciousness, and with your brothers and sisters on Planet Earth so you can live and co-create, a powerful life without believing that you are down here on Planet Earth doing it alone or that the "proper circumstances" just haven't shown up. The proper circumstances are always a choice away when the lens of perception is clear.

In closing Beloveds, if each and every ONE of us doesn't rise up and take dominion over our lives in a consistent, congruent, collaborative, sacred and clear manner and loose the fear, no matter what actions are called for, "someone" or "something" else will take dominion and I promise you, it's not worth it.

An angel

Every blade of grass has its Angel that bends over it and whispers, "Grow, grow."

--Talmud

I know that my angels and guardians surround me with loving guidance and protection. Their healing energy embraces me and I am at peace knowing how very loved I am by the precious helpers from above and beyond. I ground the cosmic beauty of angelic wisdom into the roots of my earthly life.

Every being has a definite vocation

Every being has a definite vocation . Every being's vocation is the light that illuminates their life. Anyone who disregards their vocation is as a lamp unlit.

( Rephrasing the words of Hazrat Inayat Khan.)

That's Life

You must understand the whole of life, not just one little part of it.
That is why you must read, that is why you must look at the skies, that is why you must sing and dance, and write poems, and suffer, and understand, for all that is life.

We are the mirror

We are the mirror, as well as the face in it.
We are tasting the taste of eternity this minute.
We are pain and what cures pain.
We are the sweet cold water and the jar that pours.
Soul of the world, no life, nor world remain, no beautiful women and men longing.
Only this ancient love circling the holy black stone of nothing.
Where the lover is the loved, the horizon and everything within it.

Torkom Saraydarian

This is an amzing teacher. It's hard to believe that it has taken me so long to find him, but then, 'when the student is ready, the teacher appears.

About Torkom Saraydarian Print E-mail

Torkom Saraydarian was an extraordinary human being. He was known worldwide as a renowned scholar of comparative religions. He was a great teacher, writer, lecturer, and composer of sacred music.

Torkom Saraydarian (1917-1997) was born in Asia Minor. Since childhood he was trained in the Teachings of the Ageless Wisdom under the guidance of his loving father.

As he grew up, he visited monasteries, ancient temples, and mystery schools in order to find the answers to his questions about the mystery of man and the Universe. He was musically trained and was able to play the violin, piano, oud, cello, and guitar. He composed hundreds of musical pieces that embody his training in the Ageless Wisdom.

His works represent a synthesis of the best and most beautiful in the sacred culture of the world by creating a truly universal approach to spirituality. These works enrich the foundational thinking on which we can construct our future of true global living.

The legacy he left us is an amazing 170 books, half of which half have been published, as well as hundreds of musical pieces, lectures on video and audio tape and meditation courses.

The remarkable achievement in his writings was to synthesize and make comprehensible the huge body of knowledge known as the Ageless Wisdom. TSG is planning to archive all of Torkom's creative works. Check the Archiving Fund for more information and how you can help preserve the huge body of audio, video, and music tapes.

Dreams

Want the change ... pour yourself out like a fountain

Sonnets to Orpheus, Part Two, XII
Want the change. Be inspired by the flame
where everything shines as it disappears.
The artist, when sketching, loves nothing so much
as the curve of the body as it turns away.
What locks itself in sameness has congealed.
Is it safer to be gray and numb?
What turns hard becomes rigid
and is easily shattered.
Pour yourself out like a fountain.
Flow into the knowledge that what you are seeking
finishes often at the start, and, with ending, begins.
Every happiness is the child of a separation
it did not think it could survive. And Daphne, becoming
a laurel,
dares you to become the wind.

Pleasure

As John Lennon Warned...

" Pleasure is the mechanism that connects all aspects of ourselves, our
senses and our body, our mind and our brain. Right now, consider what is
on your mind most of the time. Ralph Waldo Emerson pointed out that
'Life consists of what a man is thinking of all day.' Is your mind
crowded with obligations, pressures, needs, wants, aspirations, planning
for the future, trying to do more, and have more?

When you jog, do you think about the wonderful scenery or your latest
work challenge? When you eat, do you discuss family problems or the
taste and texture of the food? When you take a vacation to 'get away
from it all', what is the 'all' you are getting away from? Does the
'all' stay on your mind? Why do you want to get away from it? Are
vacations an escape from your own way of living- brief pleasure
probations from a life sentence of obligations?

As John Lennon warned:
IS YOUR LIFE WHAT IS HAPPENING WHILE YOU ARE MAKING OTHER PLANS?
If so, your mind has been 'Westernized' and your indigenous 'pleasure
mind' is being neglected."

Commitment is a powerful force

Commitment is that place inside ourselves that says "I will get there or I will die trying" - and as such it is one of the most powerful forces in the universe. We can tap into this force at any moment, simply by deciding to do so.

How to avoid helpnessness

To void helplessness
, be fully present with whatever you are doing . Experiment by being fully present with a mundane task. Do the dishes with awareness, energy, enthusiasm, and as if they're the most important thing in the world.

Acceptance

Life begins to change in magical ways when we open to the experience of life AS IT IS.

With
acceptance, we stop fighting what is happening. And this creates space, an opening for new relationships to unfold.

Explore unconditionally saying yes to the facts of life. Accept your past and where you are now.Unconditional acceptance is unconditional love and this is healing.

"Sometimes what seems like surrender isn't
surrender at all. It's about what's going on in our
hearts. About seeing clearly the way life is and
accepting it and being true to it, whatever the
pain, because the pain of not being true to it is
far, far greater."

The highest good is like water.

The highest good is like water.
Water gives life to the ten thousand things and does not strive.
It flows in places men reject and so is like the Tao.
In dwelling, be close to the land.
In meditation, go deep in the heart.
In dealing with others, be gentle and kind.
In speech, be true.
In ruling, be just.
In business, be competent.
In action, watch the timing.

Empowering questions for creating your life

By December 31 of any given year, your life is going to be either better or worse. It's your choice. As you try to get your life in order, answer these questions to help you figure out what's important now:

If you were to fully live your life, what is the first change you would start to make?
What areas of your life could be upgraded?
What could you work on now to make the biggest impact on your life?
What are you tolerating or putting up with ?
What do you want MORE of in your life ?
What do you want LESS of in your life ?
What 3 things are you doing regularly that serve and support you ?
What would you try NOW if you couldn't fail ?
What do you love ?
What do you hate ?

What do you realize that you have neglected ?
What could you focus on from now on ?

What do you choose to make important now?

Journalling exercises

see: www.oprah.com

Do you find yourself staring at a blank page? Your journal can be a vehicle to open up your thoughts, feelings and dreams. All you need to do is start writing.

Journal Exercises.

What is your very first memory? Can you recall the details?
What do you love about yourself? What do you hate? Be honest.
Who do you admire or dislike? Do you see yourself in those people?

Journalling tips

Where do you start?

Start with whatever comes.
Let the words flow.
Allow what is within to surface.

When the fear of writing is upon you, write anyway.

Move beyond the superficial.
In order for the writing to be cathartic and healing, you need to be honest—completely honest. You need to move past a superficial retelling of events. Ask yourself more difficult questions such as,

"Why am I feeling this now?"
"What am I feeling right now ? "

Create a special, sacred writing place; quiet zone.

When writing about an event or a feeling also examine the flip side or the positive outcome of the situation.

Re-read what you have written.

Writing is a great way to learn about who you are and where you have been.

Applaud yourself for telling the truth and congratulate yourself for moving on.

Journalling

Release and let go of what is bothering you by writing it down.
Journalling, keeping a diary, blogging is great for just that; for getting things off your chest.

Our minds are our own worst enemies. The same thoughts, often fearful thoughts and worries can go round and round in the same old ways and keep us stuck. Writing about something allows us to explore and see things from a different perspective.

"In truth, to attain to interior peace, one must
be willing to pass through the contrary to peace.
Such is the teaching of the Sages."

-- Swami Brahmanada

"Even though you may want to move forward in your
life, you may have one foot on the brakes. In
order to be free, we must learn how to let go.
Release the hurt. Release the fear. Refuse to
entertain your old pain. The energy it takes to hang
onto the past is holding you back from a new life."

You've no idea how hard I've looked for a gift to bring You.

You've no idea how hard I've looked for a gift to bring You.

Nothing seemed right.

What's the point of bringing gold to the gold mine, or water to the Ocean.

Everything I came up with was like taking spices to the Orient.

It's no good giving my heart and my soul because you already have these.

So- I've brought you a mirror.

Look at yourself and remember me.

A Blessing Meditation : Attraction of Money for Spiritual Purposes

A Blessing Meditation for the Attraction of Money for Spiritual Purposes

I. Alignment

This requires quieting the personality so that there is no obstruction to Soul union, for it is the Soul, the Self, that blesses.

Its three stages are:

Relax the bodyStill the emotions so they become as ‘quiet as a mountain lake’.Quiet the ‘monkey mind’ – if it leaps away bring it back to stillness to face the Soul.

II. Visualisation
See a beautiful meadow full of green grasses and flowers of all colours. It is a warm sunny day and the air is full of the perfume of the moist soil and vegetation. Feel the ground beneath your feet, the warm breeze on your skin and hear the sound of birdsong surrounding you. The sun is shining and bathing all in light.

Your attention is drawn to a bee working busily near to you. It flies from flower to flower, collecting nectar and pollen. You notice more and more bees. Their busy sound drones like a comforting perpetual ‘Om’.
You notice them working independently but together, as they each return to an active hive. Their gatherings of nectar are turned into honey. This golden liquid is for the sharing and sustaining of themselves and their community and others that feed on it. There is enough for all and the cycle of gathering and sharing is perpetual, joyful and harmonious.

III. Meditation
Having raised your centre of consciousness endeavour to think through and consider one of the following seed-thoughts:
‘Money is a symbol of divine substance and energy.’‘I appreciate money, blessing it and circulating it as a divine gift.’‘I will use money only for good, right, appropriate purposes.’

IV.Radiation
‘Breathe Out’ your ideas as formulated forms of thought into the great stream of mental substance which is ever playing upon the human consciousness.
Close with a careful consideration of your own responsibility to the Plan.Be practical and realistic and know that if you do not give, you may not ask, for you have no right to evoke that which you do not share.

Delmore:The Fear,The River,The Mind,

THE MIND IS AN ANCIENT AND FAMOUS CAPITAL..By Delmore Schwartz

The mind is a city like London,
Smoky and populous: it is a capital
Like Rome, ruined and eternal,
Marked by the monuments which no one
Now remembers.
For the mind, like Rome, contains
Catacombs, aqueducts, amphitheatres, palaces,
Churches and equestrian statues, fallen, broken or soiled.
The mind possesses and is possessed by all the ruins
Of every haunted, hunted generation’s celebration.

"Call us what you will: we are made such by love."
We are such studs as dreams are made on, and
Our little lives are ruled by the gods, by
Pan, Piping of all, seeking to grasp or grasping
All of the grapes; and by the bow-and-arrow god,
Cupid, piercing the heart through, suddenly and forever.

Dusk we are, to dusk returning, after the burbing,
After the gold fall, the fallen ash, the bronze,
Scattered and rotten, after the white null statues which
Are winter, sleep, and nothingness: when
Will the houselights of the universe
Light up and blaze?
For it is not the sea
Which murmurs in a shell,
And it is not only heart, at harp o’clock,
It is the dread terror of the uncontrollable
Horses of the apocalypse, running in wild dread
Toward Arcturus—and returning as suddenly ...

Omnipresent intention.

Try imagining a force that's everywhere.
There's no place that you can go where it isn't.
It can't be divided and is present in everything you see or touch.
Now extend your awareness of this infinite field of energy beyond the world of form and boundaries.
This infinite force is everywhere, so it's in both the physical and the nonphysical.
Your physical body is one part of your totality emanating from this energy.
At the instant of conception, intention sets in motion how your physical form will appear and how your growing and aging process will unfold.
It also sets in motion your non-physical aspects, including your emotions, thoughts, and disposition. In this instance, intention is infinite potential activating your physical and nonphysical appearance on Earth.
You've formed out of the omnipresent to become present in time and space.
Because it's omnipresent, this energy field of intent is accessible to you after your physical arrival here on Earth!
The onlyway you deactivate this dormant force is by believing that you're separate from it.

Hear o humankind

A Prayer To Humankind
A poem of the heart
by Manitongquat

HEAR, O HUMANKIND, the prayer of my heart.

For are we not one, have we not one desire, to heal our Mother Earth and bind her wounds?

And still to be free as the spotted Eagle climbing the laughing breath of our Father Sky,

to hear again from dark forests and flashing rivers the varied ever-changing Song of Creation?

O Humankind, are we not all brothers and sisters, are we not the grandchildren of the Great Mystery?

Do we not all want to love and be loved, to work and to play, to sing and dance together?

But we live with fear. Fear that is hate, fear that is ambition, competition, aggression, fear that is loneliness, anger, bitterness, cruelty, fear that is mistrust. envy. greed. vanity. . . and yetfear is only twisted love, love turned back upon itself, devouring itself, hating itself, love that was denied, love that was rejected .

. . and love. ..Love is life - creation, seed and leafand blossom and fruit and seed, love is growth and search and reach and touch and dance, love is nurture and succor and feed and pleasure, love is pleasuring ourself, pleasuring each other, love is life believing in itself.

And life. . . Life is the Sacred Mystery singing to itself, dancing to its drum, telling tales, improvising, playing and we are all that Spirit, our stories all but one cosmic story that we are loved indeed, that perfect love we seek we are already.

That the love in me seeks the love in you, and if our eyes could ever meet without fear, we would recognize each other and rejoice, for love is life believing in itself.

O Humankind, we must stop fearing life, fearing each other, we must absolutely stop hating ourself, resenting Creation .... Life,O Humankind, life is the only treasure. We are the custodians of it, it is our sacred trust.

Life is wondrous, awesome and holy, a burning glory, and its price is simply this: courage . . . we must be brave enough to love.

Hear my heart's prayer, O Humankind, trust in love, don't be afraid. I love you as I love life, I love myself, please love me too, love yourself, for perfect love, as a wise one said, casts out all fear.

If we are to live, there is no other choice, for love is life believing in itself.

Above all, let us set the children free, break the traps of fear that history has fashioned for them, free to grow, to seek and question, to dance and sing, to be dreamers of tomorrow's rainbows, and if we but give them our trust they will guide us to a New Creation, for love is life believing in itself.

Psychosynthesis : Psychology with a soul

"Let us feel and obey the urge aroused by the great need of healing the serious ills which at present are affecting humanity; let us realize the contribution we can make to the creation of a new civilization characterized by a harmonious integration and cooperation, pervaded by the spirit of synthesis."
-- Roberto Assagioli

I first stumbled upon Psychosynthesis in 1996 . I was going through some kind of " crisis of meaning ". Interesting how "when the student is ready the teacher appears ". I was depressed, burnt out, physically and emotionally exhausted yet a little spark inside me urged me to explore this method, both as a way out through the darkness and as a platform on which to start re- buiding my life.
Psychosynthesis is transpersonal psychology, the human journey toward personal wholeness.

Conceived by the Italian psychiatrist Roberto Assagioli (1888-1974), who studied under Freud and Jung and took what he learnt further. Psychosynthesis is often called " psychology with a soul " and is concerned with the realisation of individual potential. Psychosynthesis takes a holistic approach to the human being including body , feelings , mind and soul.

This is how Roberto Assagioli describes psychosynthesis:

" Psychosynthesis is a method of psychological development and self realization for those who refuse to remain the slave of their own inner phantasms or of external influences, who refuse to submit passively to the play of psychological forces which is going on within them, and who are determined to become the master of their own lives'.

Thoughts Blog Action Day

Today I am thinking about what to write tomorrow.

What needs to be said ?

Blog Action Day is about making a difference.

Each of us can contribute to the healing of The Environment.

My contribution will be around the psycho - spiritual environment-

the healing of the World Soul.

Awareness and acceptance of " What is "

Allowing what needs to be born in order for healing to take place.

What facilitates the healing of this planet and our environment ?

The exploriation and questioning of our beliefs and thoughts.

What is working and what isn't ?

Are these my beliefs or someone else's ?

Letting go of what we no longer need; that which does not serve.

Burt Harding : Being

Burt Harding, founder of the Awareness Foundation in Vancouver, offers a radical invitation to recognize the truth of our being as already whole and fulfilled.

He holds satsangs (meetings) in which we are reminded of the love we really are beyond the personal stories we carry. In this way, we come to recognize what we have always known but did not live from ‹ the beauty and wonder of our own true essence.

Burt also conducts sessions and workshops in Supersentience, a system devised to help heal deep wounds and promote a shift in the perception of who we really are.

He has conducted studies in higher consciousness for thirty years and had his own television series on the mind/body connection.

Burt started teaching after an experience with Bhagavan Sri Ramana Maharshi, who appeared to him in 1974 while he was living in Toronto, Ontario. As a result of this experience, he acquired the sure knowledge that the only reality lies in the present moment, the Now, and that everything else is just an illusion. His spiritual search ended in that realization.
