Light a Candle for Peace

How far that little candle throws its beams!
So shines a good dead in a naughty world.

Meditation with Crystals

Meditation is a time-honored technique that can take you into infinite dimensions of consciousness. It is a simple effort thatbecomes effortless as we do it more and more. One major principle to meditation is the ability to completely quiet your mind. Quieting themind comes as a result of meditating over a long period of time, but any time you are looking within, you are meditating.

Meditation helps us live a healthier, less stressful life. The physical and psychological benefits are wonderful and many peoplemeditate only for those reasons. The practice of meditation helps ustemporarily let the physical world go so that we can begin to seeourselves as we truly are -– spiritually enlightened beings.

Clusters of crystals bring a "group" energy to it's surrounding area. They are used to foster protection, cooperation, purification, harmony, friendship, intimacy and to break up negative energy in the environment. Place a crystal cluster in the middle of a meditation circle with other.

Individual stones can be used to bring a single intention to life.Choose a stone that "calls" to you or one, which has the metaphysicalproperties or the color you need.Meditate with your crystal: Place your crystal in your dominant hand or on the floor in front of you. Close your eyes and concentrate onthe color of your stone. Slowly try to vibe with the crystal'senergy. Remember: "Energy follows thought".The imagery of visualization is very powerful! As you breathe, you may inhale and exhale through the Chakra (energy centers) points. This will charge the Chakra and surrounding organs with vital energy.

Focusing on the breath is one of the most common and fundamentaltechniques for accessing the meditative state. Breath is a deep rhythm of the body that connects us intimately with the world aroundus.Place a piece of quartz in your hand. Allow yourself to feelthe "core" of the stone as it radiates it's energy. Feel the warmth.Close your eyes, breathe deeply and regularly, and observe your breath as it flows in and out of your body. Give your full attentionto the breath as it comes in, and full attention to the breath as it goes out. Whenever you find your attention wandering away from your breath, gently pull it back to the rising and falling of the breath.

Use the quartz to bring you back to your center. Inhale through your nose slowly and deeply, feeling the lower chest and abdomen inflatelike a balloon. Hold for five seconds. Exhale deeply, deflating thelower chest and abdomen like a balloon. Hold for five seconds. Do this three or four times, then allow your breathing to return to anormal rhythm. You will begin to feel a change come over your entirebody. Gradually you will become less aware of your breathing, but not captured in your stream of thoughts. You will become more centered inward. You will just "be there."

Accept - then act .

Q: The present moment is sometimes unacceptable, unpleasant, or awful.

A: It is as it is. Observe how the mind labels it and how this labelling process, this continuous sitting in judgement, creates pain and unhappiness. By watching the mechanics of the mind, you step out of its resistance patterns, and you can then allow the present moment to be. This will give you a taste of the state of inner freedom from external conditions, the state of true inner peace. Then see what happens, and take action if necessary or possible.

Accept - then act. Whatever the present moment contains, accept it as if you had chosen it.

Always work with it, not against it. Make it your friend and ally, not your enemy. This will miraculously transform your whole life.

Limitations

I am limited only by my beliefs so I like to review my beliefs now and then.

"What do I believe right NOW ? "

The point of power is always in the now. Past is no more , the future is yet to be .. and yet it is all in the NOW.

"What do I believe right NOW ? "

I'm reading " Conversations with God " again .. and it's as if I am reading it for the first time. Another thought that I am mulling over is that we live in two worlds - Society and The Existential , the philosophical.

In Society there are rules , morals , right and wrong and in the Existential these do not apply.
Yet , we live in both worlds. How can we best live holding them both ?

Providence

The moment you definitely commit yourself to being a part of the power of intention, "then Providence moves too," and unforeseen assistance comes your way.

The right people will arrive to assist you in every aspect of your life: The people who will support you in your career are there; the people who will help you create your perfect home show up; the people who will arrange the finances for whatever you desire are available; the driver you need to get you to the airport is waiting for you; the designer you've admired wants to work with you; the dentist you need in an emergency when you're on vacation just happens to be there; and your spiritual soul mate finds you.

The list is endless, because we're all in relationship to each other, we all emanate from the same Source, and we all share the same divine energy of intention. There's no place that this universal mind is not; therefore, you share it with everyone you attract into your life.

Wayne Dyer

Attract Ideal People and Divine Relationships

It Is My Intention To:
Attract Ideal People and Divine Relationships.

The moment one definitely commits oneself, then Providence moves too. All sorts of things occur to help one that would never otherwise have occurred.....unforeseen incidents, meetings, and material assistance, which no man could have dreamed would have come his way."

----Johann Wolfgang von Goethe

Sandstone (excerpt) -- Octavio Paz

Sandstone (excerpt) -- Octavio Paz: "door of being, dawn and wake me,
allow me to see the face of this day,
allow me to see the face of this night,
all communicates, all is transformed,
arch of blood, bridge of the pulse,
take me to the other side of this night,
where I am you, we are us,
the kingdom where pronouns are intertwined,

door of being: open your being
and wake, learn to be ....

I bless others' good fortune

I bless others' good fortune, and I know that there is plenty for all.

My consciousness determines my prosperity. The One Infinite Intelligence always says yes to me, and I say yes to all good. Reverend Ike, the well-known New York City evangelist, remembers walking by fine restaurants and lovely homes and fancy automobiles when he was a poor preacher, and saying out loud, "That's for me, that's for me." I rejoice out loud when I see abundance, and I mentally make room for it to come into my life. Being grateful for what I have helps to increase it. This also works with talents and abilities and good health. I recognize prosperity everywhere and rejoice in it!

Other people's prosperity mirrors my own abundance.

LIfe's many blessings

1. Slow down. You are not responsible for doing it all yourself, right now.

2. Remember a happy, peaceful time in your past. Rest there. Each moment has richness that takes a lifetime to savour.

3. Set your own pace. When someone is pushing you, it's OK to tell them they're pushing.

4. Take nothing for granted: watch water flow, the corn grow, the leaves blow, your neighbour mow.

5. Taste your food. Nature provides it to delight as well as to nourish.

6. Notice the sun and the moon as they rise and set. They are remarkable for their steady pattern of movement, not their speed.

7. Stop planning how you're going to use what you know, learn, or possess. Your gifts just are; be grateful and their purpose will be clear.

8. When you talk with someone, don't think about what you'll say next. Thoughts will spring up naturally if you let them.

9. Talk and play with children. It will bring out the unhurried little person inside you.

10. Create a place in your home, at your work, in your heart where you can go for quiet and recollection. You deserve it.

11. Allow yourself time to be lazy and unproductive. Rest isn't luxury; it's a necessity.

12. Listen to the wind blow. It carries a message of yesterday and tomorrow-and now. NOW counts.

13. Rest on your laurels. They bring comfort whatever their size, age, or condition.

14. Talk slower. Talk less. Don't talk. Communication isn't measured by words.

15. Give yourself permission to be late sometimes. Life is for living, not scheduling.

16. Listen to the song of a bird; the complete song. Music and nature are gifts, but only if you are willing to receive them.

17. Take time just to think. Action is good and necessary, but it's fruitful only if we muse, ponder, and mull.

18. Make time for play - the things you like to do. Whatever your age, your inner child needs re-creation.

19. Watch and listen to the night sky. It speaks.

20. Listen to the words you speak, especially in prayer.

21. Learn to stand back and let others take their turn as leaders. There will always be new opportunities for you to step out in front again.

22. Divide big jobs into little jobs.

23. When you find yourself rushing and anxious, stop. Ask yourself "WHY?" you are rushing and anxious. The reasons may improve your self-understanding.

24. Take time to read. Thoughtful reading is enriching reading.

25. Direct your life with purposeful choices, not with speed and efficiency. The best musician is one who plays with _expression and meaning, not the one who finishes first.

26. Take a day off alone; make a retreat. You can learn from monks and hermits without becoming one.

27. Pet a furry friend. You will give and get the gift of now.

28. Work with your hands. It frees the mind.

29. Take time to wonder. Without wonder, life is merely existence.

30. Sit in the dark. It will teach you to see and hear, taste and smell.

31. Once in a while, turn down the lights, the volume, the throttle, the invitations. Less really can be more.

32. Let go. Nothing is usually the hardest thing to do - but often it is the best.

33. Take a walk-but don't go anywhere. If you walk just to get somewhere, you sacrifice the walking.

34. Count your friends. If you have one, you are lucky. If you have more, you are blessed. Bless them in return!

Beauty

I find beauty in everything in my world.

Beauty is everywhere. Natural beauty shines forth from every little flower, from the patterns of reflected light on the surface of water, from the quiet strength of old trees. Nature thrills me; it renews and refreshes me. I find relaxation, enjoyment, and healing in the simplest things in life. As I look with love at nature, I find it easy to look with love at myself. I am part of nature; thus, I am beautiful in my own unique way. Where I look, I see beauty. Today I resonate with all the beauty in life.

Beauty arouses and heals me.

Louise Hay

All the barriers in my life are dissolving

I go beyond barriers to possibilities.

The gateways to wisdom and learning are always open, and more and more, I am choosing to walk through them. Barriers, blocks, obstacles, and problems are personal teachers giving me the opportunity to move out of the past and into the Totality of Possibilities. I love stretching my mind, thinking of the highest good imaginable. As my mind can conceive of more good, the barriers and blocks dissolve. My life becomes full of little miracles popping up out of the blue. And every now and then, I give myself permission to do absolutely nothing but sit and be open to Divine Wisdom. I am a student of life, and I love it.

All of the barriers in my life are dissolving.

Louise Hay

I am the author of my life

I am the main authority in my world.

No person, place, or thing has any power over me, for I am the only thinker in my mind. As a child, I accepted authority figures as gods. Now I am learning to take back my power and become my own authority figure. I accept myself as a powerful, responsible being. As I meditate every morning, I get in touch with my own inner wisdom. The school of life is deeply fulfilling as I come to know that we are all students and all teachers. We each have come to learn something and to teach something. As I listen to my thoughts, I gently guide my mind toward trusting my own Inner Wisdom. I grow and blossom and entrust all my affairs on Earth to the Divine Source. All is well.

I am the author of my life.

Louise Hay

Follow your bliss

"Our strongest wanting for you is that you lighten up.

In other words, spend more time looking for things to laugh about and play with.

Play your way through this.

It really is the key.

When you follow your bliss it is always an easy journey."

Abraham - - 9/4/93

"When you follow your bliss you put yourself on a kind of track that has been there all the while, waiting for you, and the life that you ought to be living is the one you are living. When you can see that, you begin to meet people who are in your field of bliss, and they open doors to you. I say, follow your bliss and don't be afraid, and doors will open where you didn't know they were going to be.

My general formula for my students is "Follow your bliss." Find where it is, and don't be afraid to follow it."

I believe in all -- Rilke

I believe in all -- Rilke

believe in all that has never yet been spoken.
I want to free what waits within me
so that what no one has dared to wish for

may for once spring clear
without my contriving.

If this is arrogant, God, forgive me,
but this is what I need to say.
May what I do flow from me like a river,
no forcing and no holding back,
the way it is with children.

Then in these swelling and ebbing currents,
these deepening tides moving out, returning,
I will sing you as no one ever has,

streaming through widening channels
into the open sea.

~ Rainer Maria Rilke ~
